Kenta Kito

Kenta Kito is a Japanese filmmaker based between San Francisco and Tokyo, working as a director, writer, and producer.
He has worked on professional film and commercial productions in both Japan and the United States, including a Netflix original series while completing his senior year at San Francisco State University in 2026.
At the age of 22, he independently wrote, directed, produced, and completed his debut feature film, Silent Color, on a micro-budget of just $7,000. The feature has completed post-production and is currently preparing for its festival run.
Kenta’s work focuses on character-driven narratives that explore human connection, emotional distance, and the quiet tension of internal conflict. Blending grounded realism with a poetic visual sensibility, he is committed to building an international career that bridges independent auteur filmmaking with global production practices.
